At De Martel Ferrets, my mission is to preserve and improve the domestic ferret through thoughtful, responsible breeding. Every pairing is carefully planned with the goal of producing ferrets that are healthy, long-lived, structurally correct, and true to the standard, while also possessing the confident and affectionate temperament that makes them wonderful companions. 

Health is at the heart of every decision I make. I believe that responsible breeding goes far beyond appearance—it is about prioritizing genetic health, longevity, sound structure, and overall well-being for generations to come. My breeding program focuses on selecting ferrets with excellent temperaments, strong conformation, and carefully considered lines to ensure each new generation is an improvement on the last. 

My kits are raised in a loving home environment where they receive daily handling, socialization, and enrichment from an early age. This helps them develop into confident, curious, and well-adjusted ferrets that are ready to become cherished members of their new families. 

I am committed not only to my ferrets but also to the people who welcome them into their homes. I strive to build lasting relationships with owners by offering guidance, support, and honest communication throughout each ferret's life. For me, breeding is not about producing as many kits as possible—it is about preserving quality, promoting health, and ensuring every ferret has the opportunity to live a long, happy, and fulfilling life.
